The apartment was incredible - comfy, and stylish. We were welcomed and helped with everything as best as possible, and it made the long weekend in edinburgh really easy and fun.

Hi Jon,
Just a note to say we were very happy with the apartment – it made for an excellent base for the weekend (though the stairs were tough on Sunday night!). I finished the marathon in 4 hrs 35 mins, with Caroline a few minutes behind me. I hope your girlfriend got round okay.
We would certainly recommend it to friends and family. The early access on Friday and later leaving on Monday were much appreciated.

This was a long awaited trip and I was in charge of accommodating 7 people. My group and I were overwhelmed by the sheer character and space of this apartment. Beautifully furnished, immaculate and extremeyly homely. Jon was lovely, very friendly gave us great advice regarding local amenities. He was also very flexible with the time that we arrived and left. All in all great value for money and breath taking views of the city. Location was central so we only hired a taxi once. If you are in a large group and are looking for space, location and classy but homely interior Frederick Street is a must! Five star luxury all the way!

Once again, an exciting visit to a vibrant city. We bring all our family, but nothing is too much trouble for our host and the welcome is superb. Apartment spectacularly clean, spacious, and has everything we need, excellent. This is our second year here and already booked again for next year, tried lots of others but couldn't consider anywhere else now. Roll on the fringe 2012.

The apartment accommodated our family perfectly for a week in August during one of the weeks of the Fringe festival. We have used the apartment for a second time now and as well as being situated in a perfect location,is is comfortable and homely with plenty of space. It was very clean and the kitchen contained everything necessary for our visit. Jon is friendly and accommodating and was easily contactable before and during the stay. There are wonderful views too!

Were so pleased on our arrival at Frederick Street as the apartment completed exceeded our expectations. The pictures just do not do it it justice!! So light airy and plenty of space for everyone. Being split level was also such a boon as we were travelling with kids. Highly recommend!

New world comfort and facilities in an old world Edinburgh townhouse which reflects the history of the city with regards to its architectural legacy. Jon was really helpful in getting our booking and special requests over the line and provided excellent recommendations around bars and restaurants around town - might have visited too many of the former over the weekend (for my sins!). Great flat, great location - enjoy a great piece.

Had a great stay in Edinburgh for my friends wedding and was made all the better by the location and the space in this apartment. There were 7 of us staying here and it had one of the best views of edinburgh i have ever seen. One of the couples staying had no key to get in one night and Jon was a gentleman and came down and let them (poor man was woke out of his sleep,lol). Great location and is right in the centre of everything and would definitely recommend this apartment to stay in again as was absolutely lovely.

Seven girls came up for a long weekend. Fantastic apartment in a brilliant central location. Jon the owner was very accomodating and flexible to our travel arrangements. Would definately stay again. I cannot fault this stay (staircase to the flat aside!) - the flat is lovely, spacious and perfect for group stays. Jon was extremely helpful and accommodating with our numerous requests and it made our trip to Edinburgh stress-free and very enjoyable. The quality of the apartment is very high and we felt we got extremely good value for money.
We would definitely come again and recommend to our friends.

A group of us stayed in the Frederick Street Duplex in February for a weekend. The apartment was extremely spacious and well set out in an excellent location. We all agreed that we would use this apartment again if we were to return to Edinburgh as a larger group.

We have stayed here for 3 nights and we were very surprised by the enormous space in the apartment. Great living room and kitchen. The conact with Jon was even better, pointing out the places to be and helping out with train time tables to Dundee. And thanks very much for the easy and late check out !! Definitely a perfect place staying in Edinburgh, only a short walk to all attractions, station and pubs !

I booked this apartment for 6 of my friends for a whole weekend,the apartment is walking distance to Princess street and to George street. Checking in was done smoothly, the apartment is in very a good condition,the heating worked well through out our stay,everyone was very impressed with how big it was,it felt like being home away from home. We dint need to take a taxi even once coz all the restaurants and bars were within walking distance,the view from the kitchen is breath taking,could see as far as the Forth road Bridge.
We thought it would be noisy at night but i think coz the apartment is all the way at the top,there was no noise at all. I will differently be staying here again when friends come to visit.
