Bathed in light, the large and open plan living/kitchen area is ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring the city, with super-cosy sofas, flat screen TV and unlimited WiFi. The fully fitted kitchen treats you to a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and everything else you need to rustle up your own culinary delights.

Two double bedrooms invite you to a restorative night’s sleep with comfy beds, crisp white linen, and plentiful storage. A modern family bathroom with shower over bath completes this delightful home from home.

In terms of location, you simply could not ask for more. The Assembly Close Residence sits in a traditional Close off of the Royal Mile, putting you in amongst all of the action in Edinburgh’s world famous medieval Old Town. You’ll have some fairly regal neighbours as Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are barely a 5 and 15 minute stroll from the apartment. You can also be in the New Town within a few minutes’ walk, home to designer shopping, destination dining and both national and independent art galleries.

If you want to visit other areas of the city, Lothian buses run a number of services from around the corner on North Bridge. Edinburgh Waverley train station is just 300 metres from the apartment, where you can also get the Airlink bus to Edinburgh Airport.

Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 15 pounds for unsociable hours and arrivals after 10pm will incur a fee of £25. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
