Castle View Apartment @ The Old Town

Beautiful apartment in a convenient location - plenty of local shops for any necessities and a short walk to the main shopping areas and restaurants. The apartment is large, wonderfully furnished and decorated, and equipped with everything you’d need. The kitchen is especially stunning! All communication before our stay was clear and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we visit Edinburgh in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at Castle Terrace apartment - the views were spectacular and every detail had been thought of. It was absolutely pristine and a perfect space for socialising. This apartment is in an incredible location right next to Edinburgh castle and an easy walk to the Old Town. Johnny Walker is only a couple of blocks away. The decor is comfortable and beautiful. The gourmet kitchen had everything we needed. Including a high end coffee maker & wine fridge. We loved the kitchen dinette for breakfast. The Bluetooth speakers throughout were a nice touch. The apartment was spotless and updated yet still kept its vintage charm.

Beautifully clean and well-appointed apartment with a view of the Edinburgh Castle. This apartment is in the perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and tourist sites. The beds were warm and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we even received a welcome bottle of champagne and chocolate. We would recommend it to everyone! This apartment was perfect for five women on holiday. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen were all spacious and well-appointed. Located on a beautiful street, we were able to walk most everywhere including the market just 0.2 miles away. Please note that the apartment is located one floor up from the street with no lift available. That was not a problem for us, but be prepared to hoist your luggage one flight up a winding staircase.

Great property, centrally located but still silent at night. Check in super easy and faff free. Very clean, including beds and bathrooms. High quality sheets and towels. Well stocked kitchen in terms of appliances. Great stay, would return.

Beautiful and extremely comfortable flat. Good locations, views were amazing. Towels and master bedroom bedding were amazing. For you Americans, no washcloths ;). Stairs are a little difficult with bags but gorgeous rounded staircase. Loved the living room with a beautiful Christmas tree which made it very “Hallmark” like. Ceilings are very high. We just loved this apartment. Four of us on a girls trip and it was perfect. Great espresso/latte machine. The washer/dryer was cumbersome. All in all great place.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this extraordinary property. Location is quite convenient to everything. Magnificent high ceiling and enormous windows and drapes, looking out on the Edenborough Castle. We felt like Scottish Lords and Ladies here. Kitchen was functional and living room a nice space to hang. Beds were comfortable and everything was quite clean. Our expectations were exceeded here, great rental !

The flat was centrally located,20 minutes to many of the many tourists attractions. Surrounded by many pubs and restaurants. The flat itself is very well equipped and it's very accommodating.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. We loved the views from the windows in the lounge. Very clean and comfortable beds . Easily walkable to all local attractions and restaurants. A great place to stay with family with the convenience of three bathrooms . Very well equipped kitchen and lovely touch to provide treats for us on arrival. This apartment was beautiful...we loved it. Quite spacious and well furnished and decorated. The location was wonderful with several pubs/restaurants located quite nearby along with grocery. The stairs leading up were known about ahead of time and easily climbed by the younger ones who helped out the older ones with luggage so not a problem. Easy in and easy out and right in the centre of old town. Would highly recommend it to all.

This three bedroom apartment located right across from the castle was a perfect location for our stay in Edinburgh. It was clean and being on the Second floor only a few stairs up for an easy access. Having the 2 1/2 bathrooms was nice for the four of us staying there. The linens and bedding were all high-quality and the apartment is well appointed and very tastefully done. It was an easy easy check in and easy checkout as well. Would highly recommend.

This was such a wonderful property for me and my family. The extra large sitting room was a lovely spot to sit and visit and the kitchen was well appointed. We felt at home and spoiled all at once. And of course it was an excellent location. Winner!

A luxurious splurge for sure but when you are in town to see Taylor Swift, you do it! This home was PERFECT! A wonderful layout for our family. You step out the door and are SO close to a million different locations that are key to the must do’s in Edinburgh. We walked everywhere and it was wonderful! The hosts were amazing and so helpful with every single question we asked. We were there for 3 nights and I wish it could have been longer!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. We were a group of 6 from ages 18-58. The location could not have been better - easily walkable to all the sites and yet in a quiet area for sleep. Everything was exactly as pictured! Grocery and tons of pubs and restaurants very close. In fact, one night we picked up frozen pizza from the grocery and enjoyed the kitchen and just being together. Loved that we were all on one floor. Three full bathrooms! We would 1000% stay here again. This apartment was the perfect end to our trip and we feel lucky to have found it!

We couldn’t be happier with the apartment. It is very roomy, clean, and up to date. The property managers and owners are lovely folks and very communicative. The check in process was a breeze. I cannot explain in words how happy we were with this property! Everything was absolutely perfect. There was not one single thing that we needed that the home did not offer. Each room was expertly decorated and the atmosphere felt very warm and inviting. The views of the castle from the living room were a huge bonus! The location was perfect for those that like to be off the beaten path, but still within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We were very pleased to see a farmer's market right across the street on Saturday morning where we enjoyed sausage rolls and pastries. I would 100% stay at this property again!

What a charming place to stay! We all loved staying there, and it was beautifully decorated! Kitchen was fully stocked with things you may need, including coffee, tea sugar, etc. Great views! Peaceful and private. And, it was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. View of the Castle, quick walk to everything. We were extremely comfortable there and would definitely book this place again.

"We had a great time staying in this gorgeous apartment in a great location for exploring Edinburgh. Great views of the castle out of the front rooms.
It was a lastminute booking only 24 hours ahead, and everything about was easy and smooth.
The apartment has all you need for a family to stay including a high chair. It was also a perfect place to play hide and seek with three little children! "
